Shadowbox Art Piece - Kansas City artist Ninette Maumus creates historical fiction with her art pieces. She features photos, found objects, trinkets and text to bring back to life the imaginary characters that are memorialized in her work. Each box is different and features objects that stir the viewers thoughts and memories. It is interesting hearing viewers' interpretations - no two are alike.
